Installation of spindle bushing
The steps to install the spindle bushing are as follows:
1. Check and confirm that the plane on the outer cone of the bushing is aligned with the casting groove of the inner hole of the eccentric sleeve.
2. Put the bushing into the eccentric sleeve and use a piece of wood to drive the bushing down. For the approximate position of the bushing in the eccentric sleeve, refer to the position diagram of the spindle bushing. Measure the distance between the top of the eccentric sleeve at the gear keyway and the upper end face of the sleeve, and ram the sleeve downward until a feeler gauge of 0.004 inch (0.1mm) cannot be inserted between the outer circle at the lower part of the sleeve and the inner hole of the eccentric sleeve.
3. Pour locking packing into the top of eccentric sleeve.
When the bushing packing is poured again, only the epoxy resin with high impact strength can be used as the locking compound packing instead of the ordinary epoxy resin. Some special additives are used to make the strength and thermal conductivity of the epoxy locking compound filler better than that of the ordinary epoxy resin filler.
